Job Description: The Practice Manager is responsible for leading, organizing, problem solving, and communication within the administrative team (Physicians and Manager). Knowledge of Revenue Management, Business Administration, and Employee Organization is a must. In addition, the Practice Manager will hold routine staff and individual meetings.

The manager will be responsible for all areas of Human Resources management including; hiring, training and coaching, knowledge of FLSA and the difference between exempt and non-exempt employees, workman’s comp liability, unemployment, sub-contracted employees, payroll processing, knowledge of ADA, all discrimination Acts, COBRA, FMLA, OSHA, and license and insurance verifications.

The Manager will also be responsible for Budget Management and Billing. Areas of responsibility will include managing funds in accordance with basic accounting principles, review invoices and statements, reconcile office payments in a timely manner, and maintain Vendor files, invoices, and receipts  Must have knowledge of billing concepts such as, CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid), ICD-9/10 and CPT, Anti-fraud, Stark regulations, Collections, and implementation of PQRS and Meaningful Use reporting.

Desired Candidates MUST:

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and electronic medical record and billing systems

Medical Case Manager is to act as an onsite liaison for onsite leadership and organizational functions to include; workers compensation, risk management, leave administration, safety, security, and labor with regard to workers compensation claims, leave administration, and accommodation requests for Coca-Cola Refreshments in New Jersey and other areas as defined.

Position works with onsite leadership and researches and recommends resources and creates flexible, cost-effective options for catastrophically or chronically ill or injured individuals on a case by case basis to, in conjunction with key stakeholders and facilitates arrangements relating to Workers Compensation, Family and Medical Leave, and Accommodations, to ensure timely return to work when appropriate.

Provides medical case management to individuals through coordination with the patient, the physician, other health care providers, management, Risk Management, Insurance Administrators, Safety, Security, Return to Work, Legal, Labor Relations and Accommodations teams.

  • Coordinates Independent Medical Evaluations. Provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient’s progress. Conducts visits and assesses healthcare facilities for appropriateness.
  • Responsible for assessing and analyzing an injured employee to evaluate the medical and vocational needs required to facilitate the patient’s appropriate and timely return to work.
  • Monitors patient progress toward desired outcomes through assessment and evaluation.
  • May arrange referrals, consultations and therapeutic services for patients. Confers with specialists concerning course of care and treatment.
  • Develops and administers educational and prevention programs.
  • Testifies as required to substantiate any relevant case work or reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing, occupational health, physical therapy, legal, risk or related field required.
  • Current RN, Risk, Workers Compensation, or PT licensure in NJ or Pennsylvania preferred.
  • 5+ years of Workers Compensation, Occupational Health, or Insurance experience is required.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Certified Case Manager Credential is preferred. Occupational Health Nursing experiencedesirable.
  • Health promotion and health assessment expertise in the corporate environment is desired.
  • Clinical assessment skills, health care knowledge, a keen understanding of the emotional andsocial health aspects of disability, success consulting with medical and behavioral healthproviders and strong negotiating, facilitation and conflict resolution skills required
  • Current knowledge of Workers’ Compensation, Absence Management, ADA, Family and MedicalLeave Act and OSHA guidelines required with the appropriate designation/certification preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and produce medical records and reports.
  • Strong knowledge of NJ Workers Compensation law and regulations.

Hospice Registered Nurse (2 openings):

The Registered Nurse Hospice is a member of the multidisciplinary team working in collaboration with the physician.  The Registered Nurse utilizes the care process consistent with their license or certification including initiation of interventions within individual scope of practice.  The Registered Nurse is also responsible for overseeing any necessary coordination of the multidisciplinary plan of care and provides for its consistency with the medical treatment plan.  The patient care process includes:

  • Assessment- an orderly process consisting of the identification, gathering and organization of subjective and objective data pertaining to the patient/family/significant other.
  • Planning- an organized step in the process that consists of the identification of the actual or potential problems and desired outcomes (goals) that result in a documented plan of care.  The plan of care provides direction for the patient/family/significant other.
  • Intervention- the specific interventions or orders that are implemented consistent with the plan of care and medical treatment plan.
  • Evaluation- a step in the process that involves determining the effectiveness of the interventions in achieving the plan of care and determining the conclusions concerning the need for reassessment and revisions to the problems, goals, plan of care, and interventions. This step provides for documentation of required actions.  Based upon findings identified during assessment and reassessment:
  • Patients have problems identified and prioritized relative to biophysical, psychological, environmental, self-care, educational and social status.
  • Goals are identified consistent with the problem to provide direction for patient care and health promotion.
  • Education is consistent with the identified problem and associated goals and is seen as critical to creating an environment that promotes patient empowerment.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Graduate of an Accredited school of Nursing required. Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.

LICENSE:  Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Valid New Jersey Drivers license preferred. BLSHCP required.

EXPERIENCE:  2 years of oncology or medical/surgical experience required. Hospice experience required.  Proficiency in clinical application.

Job Description:
The Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the health care team who works under the supervision of a licensed nurse performing basic nursing tasks, as assigned, in an inpatient and/or outpatient setting.

•          Meets safety needs of client and uses equipment properly and safely (bed rails, restraints, oxygen, foot stools, and so forth).

•          Provides client personal care (activities of daily living).

•          Reports any changes in client’s condition to the Charge Nurse.

•          Completes all documentation accurately and in a timely fashion.


Required Experience and Qualifications: 

•          A minimum of 1 year recent experience in an acute care, long term care or home care, or hospital setting.

•          Must have two satisfactory employment references.

•          Must meet all client policies and regulations.

•          Must meet all agency personnel policies.

•          Must successfully complete the competency evaluation examination with a passing score.

•          Must meet all agency requirements concerning health/personnel/policies.

•          Must have successfully completed an approved Nursing Assistant training program and have proof of certification.

  • Must comply with HIPAA laws and regulations.

 

Language Skills:

Job Description:

The Care Management Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the appropriate and cost-effective medical care to members. The Care Management Coordinator also implements quality care standards, while limiting member’s and client’s exposure to unnecessary and inappropriate treatment. In addition, the CMC will act as a patient advocate and resource when accessing the health care system.

Position is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm 10/20/14 – 12/12/14

Responsibilities Overview:

  • Evaluate proposed plans of treatment, as defined in the precertification requirements of the group plan
  • Using the medical criteria of InterQual and/or Medical Policy, established the need for inpatient, continued stay and length of stay, procedures and ancillary services
  • Directs the delivery of care to the most appropriate setting, while maintain quality
  • Contacts attending physicians regarding treatment plans/plan of care and clarifies medical need evaluation
  • Presents cases to Medical Directors that do not meet established criteria and provides pertinent information regarding member’s medical condition and the potential home care needs
  • Performs early identification of members to evaluate discharged planning needs.
  • Collaborate with facility case management staff, physician and family to determine alternative setting at times and provide support to facilitate discharge to the most appropriate setting
  • Identifies and refers cases for case management and disease management
  • Identifies quality of care issues including delays in care
  • Appropriately refers cases to the Quality Management Department and/or Sr. Clinical Svcs Nurse when indicated
  • Maintains the integrity of the system information by timely, accurate data entry
  • Utilization decisions are compliant with state, federal and accreditation regulations
  • Ensures that all key functions are documented via Care Management and Coordination Policy
  • Works to build relations with all providers and provides exceptional customer service
  • Reports potential utilization issues or trends to designated manager or senior clinical nurse and recommendations for improvement
  • Participates in the process of education providers on managed care
  • Open to new ides and methods; creates and acts on new opportunities; is flexible and adaptable
  • Builds team spirit and interdepartmental rapport, using effective problem solving and motivational strategy
  • Performs additional job-related duties as assigned

Pay: $30-$33/hour based on experience

Job Description:
The HEDIS Review Nurse is responsible for reviewing and abstracting medical records for the annual HEDIS project. The HEDIS review nurse documents all HEDIS related items into software on a daily basis. Reviews and integrates medical information from electronic and paper medical records in a timely manner. Participates in medical record collection, requests and abstracts appropriate medical records, assessing for assigned categories as needed. Reviews assigned medical records in order to abstract specified and required clinical data elements for HEDIS reporting. Performs other duties as assigned.

Protocall will be offering a completion bonus of $350 to those who complete the full 6 month assignment.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of recent HEDIS Review experience required.
  • Registered Nurse license required (BSN preferred)
